Ecole des Trois Collines – Mougins (France)

Presentation of the Three Hills School

The École des Trois Collines is located in Mougins-le-Haut, in a residential area near Sophia Antipolis.

It is a public school that welcomes a British international section From CP to CM2. Recognized by the National Education system as international primary school, It is part of the ASEICA network and offers a bilingual learning environment
French-English particularly suited to a multicultural environment.

A public school with an international focus

Since the mid-2000s, the English-speaking international section has been transferred from Saint-Martin school to
THE Three Hills. The establishment now has three international section classes,
with a target workforce of approximately 24 students per class. The students are divided into several levels of primary school.
(CP/CE1, CE2, CM1/CM2), which promotes collaborative work between classes and educational continuity from the beginning
from primary school up to entry into secondary school.

The school is officially listed in the national register of British international sections and falls under the jurisdiction of
the Nice academy, which guarantees a high level of academic rigor and compliance with official texts of the
Ministry of National Education.

A modern and functional setting

L'’Three Hills School is housed in a modern building, designed specifically to accommodate
a nursery and primary school on a single site. The architectural design emphasized the brightness,
there security and the energy performance, with largely glazed facades and thoughtfully designed volumes
to reduce the environmental impact of construction.

The establishment notably includes:

  • classrooms adapted to different levels,
  • outdoor spaces for recreation and sports activities,
  • spaces dedicated to arts, science or English projects,
  • in a calm environment, overlooking Mougins-le-Haut, conducive to concentration.

Admissions to the international section

Access to the British international section the school of the Three Hills is done on entrance exams
organized by the academic inspectorate of the Nice academy. The procedure is common to international section schools
from the Western sector (notably Sartoux in Valbonne and Trois Collines in Mougins).

In practice:

  • THE admission tests take place every year, mainly for entry into CP (first grade), with a limited number
    of new places.
  • Admissions to higher levels may be considered depending on available places and level.
    of the child's language.
  • Test dates and registration procedures are communicated by the Nice academy and relayed by
the school and the municipalities concerned.

Students already enrolled in the international section at Trois Collines can then naturally continue in the
ASEICA course in middle school, subject to a favorable opinion from the cycle council.
